Sunday School Celebrates Easter Joy

Our Sunday School celebration was a beautiful blend of faith, fun, and Easter joy. We began by reflecting on Matthew 28:1–10, the powerful resurrection story that reminds us, “Do not be afraid.” As we talked together, the children heard the good news that Jesus is alive, and that message filled our time with hope, excitement, and peace.

A special highlight of the morning was a visit from the Easter Bunny, who shared a delightful story titled The Parable of the Easter Lily. The children listened closely and enjoyed the meaningful reminder of new life and God’s beautiful gifts in creation. After the story, they got creative by making their own Easter masks, decorating them with bright colors and festive designs that showed their joy for the season.

Although the weather kept us indoors, it did not dampen the fun. The children thoroughly enjoyed an indoor Easter egg hunt, and their laughter and energy filled the room as they searched for hidden treasures. It was a wonderful celebration of Easter, reminding us that God’s love brings light, joy, and new life no matter the weather outside.

Thank all of the volunteers for making this a special event.
