"In the Season of Thanks: We Made a Difference Together!"

Thanksgiving is a time for gratitude, reflection, and community support. This year, we again partnered with Community Ministries of Rockville to deliver 50 baskets of food on November 22, 2024, as part of their Holiday Giving Program. This initiative aims to assist families in need during the Thanksgiving season, ensuring they have access to nutritious meals.

Since its inception, the Holiday Giving Program at Community Ministries of Rockville has been a cornerstone of support for local families. The program focuses on providing meals, gifts, and essential items to those in need during the holiday season. It serves families primarily outside the City of Rockville limits, covering five specific zip codes and extending help based on available donations.

These baskets are designed to provide families with the essentials needed for a Thanksgiving meal, fostering a sense of community and support. The delivery of 50 food baskets this Thanksgiving exemplifies the spirit of giving that defines the holiday season. Potomac Church’s partnership ensures that many families will enjoy a warm Thanksgiving meal. As we reflect on what we are thankful for this year, let us remember the importance of

supporting one another in our community. Together, we can ensure that everyone has something to be grateful for this holiday season.
